Just last Sunday we hit two shots to reach the 100 yard marker on Jade 7 (a 509 yard Par 5) at Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. But then three consecutive shots landed in the water!!! For an 11!!! Don’t think they even have a name for that.
Today was revenge time. A solid 5-wood hugged the right side of the fairway and left us about 270 to the pin on the dog-leg left hole. The poorly struck second shot with a 6-iron ended up OK. 115 to the pin. A pitching wedge got me pin high with 18 feet to the hole. And a one putt for birdie!!! Who said revenge isn’t sweet?
Shhhh, we were using the TaylorMade Black ball again!!!
