Birdie Recovery @ Discovery Bay, Hong Kong

After a disastrous, and I mean disastrous, hole on Diamond 7 (Par 4) at Discovery Bay, Hong Kong, we thought things were falling apart. Then we were faced with a 170 yard Par 3 on Diamond 8 with the pin at the back. With a massive water hazard in front of the green, we took a 4-hybrid to make sure that we kept dry. Last thing we wanted was to compound to the problems of the previous hole.

After a nice fade, I landed nine feet from the hole. A confidently struck left to right downhill putt sealed the birdie and stopped the bleeding.

It was pars and bogeys all the way to the finish for a round of 83. Not bad for sleeping just five hours last night.
