We wished for an auspicious start to 2012 and hoped that a Birdie will appear during our round. We were not disappointed. On Jade 4, our fourth hole, our tee shot was not that exciting. In fact, we were lucky to carry the water! Left with 165 yards on this short Par 4, with wind against us, we took a swing with a 5-iron. Following a low trajectory, I headed straight for the pin. Landing just six feet past the hole, we made a solid putt for 2012′s first Birdie.
